The u.nu URL shortening service is provided at no cost, for your convenience, to enable you to provide easy-to-use links to web pages.

The service is not intended for, and may not be used for, the following activities:

• Creating links for use in unsolicited email messages (“spam”)
• Creating links for use in unwanted commercial forum posts or blog comments
• Creating links to web pages or sites depicting or distributing child pornography
• Creating links to web pages or sites soliciting or advocating violence

In the event that we determine any of these activities has occurred, or that laws may have been broken through the use of the service, we may, at our sole discretion, take measures including but not limited to:

• Deleting offending URLs
• Blacklisting offending web sites so no further URLs can be created
• Blocking the IP addresses from which offending URLs were submitted
• Informing relevant legal authorities

Notwithstanding, we take no responsibility for links that have been created by our users, or for the content of the pages they lead to.

In order to ensure the service remains available for all users, we may impose limits on the number of URLs that can be created in any given period of time, and on the frequency of accesses to those URLs.

While we will make every reasonable effort to ensure smooth and reliable operation, this service comes with no warranty of any sort. We accept no liability for problems you may experience, including data loss, temporary or permanent unavailability, or other malfunction.
