The Florida Department of Health reported three newly-recorded COVID-19 deaths and 111 new cases Tuesday.

The three new deaths bring the total death toll on the Treasure Coast to 492. Two new deaths were reported in Martin County and one was recorded in Indian River County, according to DOH data.

The total number of cases on the Treasure Coast increased by 111 to 15,240.

Health officials have said the virus is not necessarily the cause of death, but they record people who at some point tested positive for the virus and later die.

  • Non-residents: 20
