Last week, I finally felt somewhat normal for the first time in six months. Pro football coming back made me positively gleeful. I was so happy I was even getting all the feels for the commercial showing NFL stars lip-synching to Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.” (Gardner Minshew, you are the comic relief we all need during this pandemic, sir.)

Speaking of things getting back to the way they were — Insomniac has announced that Nocturnal Wonderland will be back in 2021, and it’s returning to the grounds at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino County.

Also, there’s a blues fest streaming for free next week you might want to know about.

We also have news this week about some changes in local radio. Read on.

Meanwhile, KCRW in Santa Monica eliminated 28 positions, and some on-air personalities are out.

The annual Cambodia Town Film Festival returns this week, and it’s going to be online because of the coronavirus pandemic.

But unlike many events, this Long Beach-based film event is going to be completely free.
